I’ve got a 2020 Ford Ranger with the 2.3L EcoBoost and I’m gearing up for a big project where I’ll need to haul a lot of heavy materials. I’m trying to figure out what the max weight I can load into the bed without overloading the truck. The manual says around 1,860 pounds, but has anyone pushed it to the limit? I’m not looking to break anything, just wondering how much you’ve been able to safely haul in the bed without issues. Also, any tips on loading it so the weight’s distributed properly?
