While we’re on the topic, I’ve heard rumors that some Ranger years are better left on the lot. Can anyone confirm if there are specific model years that tend to have more problems? I’m especially concerned about engine issues and transmission troubles. If you’ve had a bad experience with a particular year, let’s hear it—better to learn from someone else’s mistake, right?
