I’m thinking about buying a boat, but I’m not sure if my 2019 Ford Ranger with the 2.3L EcoBoost engine can handle towing it. The boat weighs about 4,000 pounds, which should be under the Ranger’s towing capacity, but I’ve never towed anything that heavy before. Anyone here have experience towing a boat with their Ranger? How well does it handle? Anything I need to be cautious of when towing on ramps or over longer distances?
