Title: 2019 Ford Ranger Oil Cooler Replacement Cost - 2.3L EcoBoost
Threaded Mode
#1
So, I’ve been quoted for an oil cooler replacement on my 2019 Ford Ranger with the 2.3L EcoBoost engine, and honestly, the numbers they gave me seem a bit steep. I’m trying to get a sense of whether I’m being overcharged or if this is just the going rate for this type of repair. Has anyone else gone through this? If you’ve had the oil cooler replaced, what did you end up paying?

Also, I’m wondering if anyone has attempted to DIY this job. I’m fairly handy, but I know the oil cooler isn’t the easiest part to get to on this engine. If you’ve done it yourself, I’d love to hear about your experience—was it worth the effort, or should I just bite the bullet and pay the shop? Any advice, cost breakdowns, or DIY stories would be much appreciated!
