Towing with my 2020 Ford Ranger (2.3L EcoBoost) has been great except for one thing—the fuel efficiency absolutely tanks when I’m pulling my trailer. I get it, towing kills gas mileage, but is there anything I can do to improve it? Any mods or tips to keep the fuel consumption a bit more reasonable? I’ve heard things like upgrading the exhaust or tuning the engine can help, but I’m not sure where to start. Anyone have success with getting better fuel efficiency while towing?
