Hey guys, I’ve been considering lifting my Ford Ranger, but I’m not entirely sure where to start. I love the idea of giving it that rugged, off-road look, plus a bit of extra ground clearance would be great for some of the trails I like to hit on weekends. But here’s the thing—I’m new to this whole “lifted truck” game.
I’m driving a 2013 Ranger with the 3.2L diesel, and I’m curious about what kind of lift would work best without messing up the ride quality too much. I’m also wondering about tire sizes—what can I fit under there after the lift? I don’t want to go too extreme, just enough to give it a tougher stance and handle a bit more off-road action.
If anyone has experience with lifting a Ranger, I’d love to hear your thoughts. What’s a good starting point? Should I be looking at a suspension lift or just a body lift? And are there any pitfalls I should watch out for? Thanks in advance for any advice you can throw my way!
