Title: Why does my Ford Ranger 2.3L pull to the right when braking?
Threaded Mode
#1
Okay, so my 2019 Ford Ranger (2.3L EcoBoost) has developed this weird habit – every time I hit the brakes, it pulls to the right. It’s almost like it’s got a mind of its own, trying to steer me off course!  At first, I thought it might just be the road, but nope, it’s happening consistently now, and honestly, it’s starting to get more annoying (and a little worrying).

I know an alignment issue can cause this kind of pull, but could it be something else? I’m thinking maybe the brake caliper on one side is sticking or the pads are unevenly worn. I’ve also read that uneven tire pressure could mess with braking, but I checked mine, and they seem fine. No obvious noises or grinding when I brake either.

Could it be the rotors? I’ve got about 45,000 miles on the truck, so maybe it’s time to replace them? I’d rather avoid a trip to the shop if this is something I can handle myself. Anyone else had their Ranger pull like this? What did it end up being? Appreciate any advice before I start throwing money at it!
