Title: Does lifting a Ford Ranger affect towing capacity?
Threaded Mode
#1
I’ve got a 2018 Ford Ranger with the 2.3L EcoBoost, and I’m thinking about lifting it for better off-roading. The only thing holding me back is that I tow a lot—mostly trailers and equipment—and I’m worried lifting it will mess with my towing capacity. Has anyone lifted their Ranger and still been able to tow without issues? Does it affect the stability or cause problems when hauling heavier loads? Any advice would be awesome because I want the lift but don’t want to lose towing ability.
