Title: Does using 4H or 4L impact fuel consumption on a Ford Ranger?
Threaded Mode
#1
Hey everyone, I’ve been using 4H more frequently on my Ford Ranger for some off-road adventures, and I’m starting to think it’s affecting my fuel consumption. It feels like I'm burning through gas faster than usual. Does driving in 4H or 4L really make that big of a difference in fuel economy, or am I just imagining it? I’m curious if other Ranger owners have noticed a similar drop in MPG, or if there’s another factor I should be considering. Appreciate any insights!
