Title: Is the Ford Ranger’s towing capacity enough for a small camper?
Threaded Mode
#1
I’ve got a 2019 Ford Ranger with the 2.3L EcoBoost engine, and I’m thinking about towing a small camper. The camper weighs around 3,500 pounds, and I know the Ranger’s rated for up to 7,500 pounds, but I’m curious if anyone’s actually done it. How well does the truck handle towing at highway speeds? Any issues with braking or handling? I’m not planning to tow long distances all the time, but I want to make sure the truck can handle it comfortably before I hit the road.
