Hey everyone, I’ve got a 2020 Ford Ranger with the 2.3L EcoBoost engine, and I’m planning a weekend trip where I’ll need to tow a trailer. The manual says it’s capable of towing up to 7,500 pounds, but I want to double-check if that’s realistic. My trailer is about 6,500 pounds fully loaded—am I cutting it too close, or should I be fine? I haven’t towed anything this heavy with the Ranger yet, so I’m a little nervous about whether it’ll handle it, especially if I hit some hills. Any advice from folks who’ve pushed their Ranger to the limit? Would love to hear your experiences before I head out!
